MASK TAN-LINES ARE A THING NOW
Whether or not wearing masks outdoors makes practical or scientific sense is up for debate. What is not up for debate, however, is whether the mask can protect you from is the sun. It can, but only on those parts of your face that are covered.
However, scientists say that a side-effect of this added level of protection is the difference in skin tone on those protected versus the exposed areas. It’s up to the individual to put their egos aside in the name of public health, and don the mask, even if it means temporary tan-lines:
